The Swedish castles said to have
burned down three times after what some Swedes believe to have been
a curse places on the castle. The curse was said to have been placed
on the castle due to the new owner of the castle having treated a
woman wrongly. The facts are the castle had burnt down in 1634, 1734
and 1834. Some Swedes tell the story of the castle in stories tell
how the fires were predicted and happened as said. There are lots of
myths and tales about castles and hauntings in Europe but, only the
real history and facts are what I try to share.
I can say that some stories may or may
not be true when you hear about this castle but, the fires were real
as those Swedes that helped in rebuilding the castle each time could
have told. Some of the myths about treasure and skeletons, bones &
skulls being found in Sweden's Castle Ruins are not common stories
in Sweden if you ask Swedish people. Maybe some believe these things
but, only on the internet have I ever heard such a tale grin. There
is no facts found to support the tales of human remains found in the
castle, nor do many believe there are hidden treasures. If there
were secret passageways in the castle there is sure nothing left of
it now. The castle ruins however is a good tourist attraction &
located in a beautiful spot.
