They believe that 1 person came up behind him and killed the Swedish man but, by the brutality and evidence of the beating found on his skeleton and skull I would more guess it was the works of more than just one person. In ways I have very strong feelings about bockstensmannen. It gives me a great sorrow and is a very sad story. I wanted to report information and news about the story of Bockstensmannen so you may read it and know a part of Swedish History found in farm lands of Bocksten Sweden. Scientific Evidence and facts show damage upon his skeleton and remains that could have been from one or more people beating this man to death prior to stabbing the man with a stake through the heart. |

A wooden stake was driven through bockstensmannen's body that then went through his heart. In the history or century then people drove wooden stakes through the heart of others to be sure their souls and body did not come back from the dead. He was beaten in the head many times with what I can and they can only think to be of wood or I say heavy logs *Bockstensmannen was beaten Many Times*. Damage shown on his skull and skeleton could have been also been from being kicked in the head and body. I am sure it was not one person but that is just a feeling and from facts it makes more sense it was more than one person doing this. Either way it was not a good way to go and I have a great sorrow for what bockstensmannen went through prior to his death.
To me it makes no sense that this was beating and killing with such violence and rage due to the fact he was a tax collector. I would say even then the angry beating before killing seems more of a rage of the heart or something more than a killing over money and keeping from Swedish Jails. Even though they were very dark and probably cold then I really can not imagine Europeans doing such things even way back in history. The reasons of the murder of bockstensmannen may never really be known. None the less many Swedish people report and seem to think Bockstensmannen was a tax collector or something of that sort. I dont know what to say or how to explain whom he was ect. There is no way to really know what this man did for a living however, Bockstensmannens clothing was nice material and he seemed well dressed at the time of his murder.

Odd but that one I would maybe feel to hold on to awhile. Like a part of Swedish History created by leigh eh. There is so much history and interesting things to learn about Sweden and to do and see in Sweden and Europe. It is really special and so heavy out here. Things here are of course still standing and older than the start of america. Everything is so preserved and clean as well as held dear in ways. It is amazing if I may use that word to try to explain it.
