When bockstensmannen was found they say that the mans skin, hair, stomach and brain were safe and in good condition for such a find. On the right side of bockstensmannen was an 8 inch long & 5 cm wide injury. Also the mans skull was soft with a bit of depressed areas or indentations. Bockstensmannen still had pieces of his lungs, liver, brain and cartilage fragments when he was found on June 22, 1936 *The Day Before Midsummer in Sweden* by an eleven year old boy at working at the bocksten farm.     Bockstensmannen is believed to have been about 175 to 180 centimeters tall and a slender or thin man. Bockstensmannen's hair and clothing are also on display with his skeletal remains at the Varberg Sweden Museum to share the history and tale of bockstensmannen. Bockstensmannen was believed to be between 25 years old and 35 years old when he murdered based on studies of his teeth. Bockstensmannen was thought to have lived in the 1400's or 14th century in europe. During the middle ages about a century after the murder of the man Sweden was said to have become an independent country and a couple of centuries later expanded to form the Swedish Empire. Swedes as well as Swedish history, lands, cultures or traditions ect is all very interesting and what most americans would call ancient grin. Clothing and articles found with Bockstensmannen     The mans suite was said to be medieval style clothing that is said to be the best preserved clothing from medieval times. The clothing were made of a strong wool fabric that was well woven. When I saw his clothing at the varberg museum in July 2010 the cloak looked a bit yellowish brown. Also a hat with a cone shape like a medieval hood was found very well preserved and is found on display with the bockstensman exhibit. He was wearing a traditional swedish garment with an exterior cloak type cape as seen in traditional european paintings of swedes and other Europeans from that time period. Bockstensmann was also found with two long socks on his legs and a belt, leather shoes, a leather case with two knives which was about 62 millimeters long, and a cloth bag ect. The outer layer of bockstensmannen's case was found to have a craving on the outer layer that can be taken for saltire and St Georges *A Pattern similar to the uk flag*. The inner layer of the bag was said to have a carving as well.

       Bockstensmannen was held down by two poles. There was an oak pole going through the mans heart and a birch wood pole going through the middle of th back of bockstens man. The mans clothing found shows also a third hole where they tried to put yet another pole through the man. Since the mans body was found in a bog the conditions of weather and earth has turned his hair red and his skeleton copper with a brownish layer. When I saw bockstensmannen on display at the Swedish Museum in Varberg there seemed to be a bit of white near his pelvic bones and thigh. I however have no idea what could have caused that.
