Norrlands Guld is one of the best and cheap beers in Sweden.
Cheap beer but, good beer. Maybe not tasting like cheap beer in the
usa meaning american water with a bit of beer to sell it as such
grin. Norrlands Guld is what I would call one of the best beers in
the world or a real good beer at the least. The photo of Norrlands
Guld Swedish beer shows one beer is cold by the moose being blue
while the hot beer or warm beer is white on the beer cans. That is
cool beer cans bought and drank in Sweden.
When not so many European and world beers
were an option due to being stuck in America for years it
seems my favorite beers were Becks Germany Beer and Heineken
Dutch Beer. As most Europeans know European beer is much
better than what American people call beer. American beer is
like if you water down beer and take out the taste ect grin.
Of course if you look where the beer is made at times even Danish
beer sold in Sweden is brewed in Sweden but made by the Danish
recipe for the Danish beers ect. There is a difference in taste if it is not
the same beers brewed in that country. I can tell you that there is
a little difference in Tuborg Danish beer brewed and bought in
Sweden vs Tuborg beer made in Denmark. The photo below shows my
travel from Sweden by bus after I bought beer in Denmark. I bought a
6 pack of Tuborg beer to drink one on the beach in Denmark then have
some swedish chocolate with the danish beer on the bus ride home. I
had Tuborg in Sweden from the Swedish beer store. In america they
can buy beer and whiskey ect in about any store. In Sweden it is
more found in one store owned by the Swedish Government in ways.
Some Swedish go to Germany to buy German beer due to the taxes on
Swedish beer making it more expensive ect. Either way it is much
better than buying it in the usa if you think about it eh.
My favorite beers from Denmark are Tuborg and Carlsberg. I bought a
couple cases of Danish Beer. European beer I bought on the ferry
ride home was made in Denmark. I got a case of Carlsberg and
Mariestads. Mariestads is also a very good beer. Some stores in
Sweden do sell beer that is just 2.5% or 3.5% beer but, if you want
stronger beer like 5.9% and 5.3% or even cider and things of 7.0%
and stronger you have to go to the government run beer stores to buy
those beers and whiskey or wines and other drinks with alcohol
(Grin). I
would say if your in Europe just try everything from European beer
to European wines and even some from other countries. If you are
American you can not go wrong with european beers since most
american beers seem to have little taste grin. I even bought
european beer in Kansas City Missouri and dallas texas but, hated to
drink the american beers of course. If your American and try beer
from Germany, Sweden, Denmark or anywhere in EuropeYou will think your in Heaven.
The
food in Europe is different in ways of much better taste, much
better for you and not all that preservatives and crap in it like
you find in american food. The water in America was not so great in
taste so the sodas tasted like chlorine to most that were used to
European Water and better ways of water treatment than american
water. I finally learned the difference and going out for tea or
soda and even just tap water in europe is so amazing and has a nice
taste not a chlorine or chemical taste. That will be on another page later
